WELCOME TO EMMANUEL
We meet on Sundays in-person at 9 am and 11 am. We also have a live stream option for those that wish to join from a distance. It is available live at 11 am on Sunday or on-demand anytime.
We love it when new people find their way to Emmanuel. So, we want to make this as easy as possible for you. Below, you will find the answers to just a few of the questions that people may have when they visit our church for the first time.
Whether you are coming on your own or as a family, we would love to make your Sunday morning experience great.
Visit eefc.ca/open for more details of what Sunday morning will look like and to sign up to reserve your seat.
How does church look right now due to COVID-19?
We continue to monitor the ongoing changes and the governments recomendations around us as we make decisions in relation to COVID-19. For up to date information on what is happening in-person and online at Emmanuel visit eefc.ca/update.
Where do I park?
At times, our parking lot is quite full. For that reason, we have reserved several parking spots for guests. You’ll find them adjacent to each of our main entrances. Handicap parking stalls are located close to each of the entrances.
What about my kids?
Visit our eKids page for more info.
How should I dress?
Emmanuel has a ‘come as you are’ atmosphere. You will find a range of dress styles from jeans and t-shirts to shorts and flip-flops, to the occasional sports jacket and dress. Come dressed however you are comfortable and you will fit right in.
Am I going to feel awkward?
In no way will you be singled out in any of our services or programs.
What do you believe?
Where are you located?
Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church is located at 360 McKenzie Avenue in Steinbach, Manitoba. The church is located on McKenzie Ave, about 1km east of Steinbach Regional Secondary School.
If I have questions, who do I talk to?
On Sunday, please feel free to visit our Welcome Centre located in the Hub. There our staff team would be glad to help you find the people or places you need.
How do you worship?
Our services have elements of both contemporary and traditional music, including hymns, choir, and a live band. You will also see other elements such as prayer, Scripture reading, communion, baptism as well as a variety of other creative elements. Most importantly, both services listen to a Bible-based message.
